Our Planet is Feeling the Heat: Rising Temperatures and Extreme Weather

The most obvious effect of climate change is the increase in global temperatures.  This isn't just about warmer summers; it's about more frequent and intense heatwaves, leading to heatstroke, wildfires, and disruptions to ecosystems.  Rising temperatures also fuel extreme weather events like hurricanes, droughts, and floods.  These events are becoming more severe and unpredictable, causing devastation to communities and infrastructure, and displacing millions of people.  The evidence is clear: our planet is feeling the heat, and the consequences are dire.
